Description

CT/MRI Imaging Procedures: Perform CT and MRI scans as requested by physicians, ensuring the capture of high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
Patient Preparation and Safety: Explain the CT or MRI procedure to patients, answer their questions, prepare them for the scan, and ensure they remain still during imaging to produce clear results.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate, monitor, and maintain CT/MRI equipment, ensuring it is calibrated correctly and functioning at optimal levels.
Radiation and Magnetic Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from excessive radiation (in CT scans) and ensure patients are free of metal objects for MRI scans, following strict magnetic field safety procedures.
Image Processing and Quality Control: Review and process images to ensure they meet the required standards for diagnosis before delivering them to radiologists or physicians.
Patient Monitoring and Comfort: Monitor patients during scans, particularly those with anxiety, claustrophobia, or health conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient data, and scan results in hospital or clinic systems for proper documentation and retrieval.
Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate communication of imaging results for patient diagnosis and treatment.
