Description

Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures, including patient positioning, image acquisition, and data processing, according to established protocols and physician orders.
Operate CT and MRI equipment, including scanners, consoles, and related imaging technology, to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists or other healthcare providers.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions, addressing patient concerns, and monitoring patient condition throughout the procedure.
Administer contrast agents or contrast media as needed for CT and MRI studies, following established protocols, dosage guidelines, and safety precautions.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize imaging protocols, interpret imaging studies, and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging archives, including patient demographics, procedure details, and image acquisition parameters, in compliance with regulatory standards.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot CT and MRI equipment and instrumentation to ensure optimal performance, equipment safety, and image quality, and report equipment malfunctions or issues as needed.
Follow radiation safety principles, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to infection prevention practices.
