Sterilization Procedures: Perform cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of surgical instruments, medical devices, and equipment according to established protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards.
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment, including tracking usage and reordering items as needed to ensure an adequate supply for surgical and clinical procedures.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners, ensuring they are functioning correctly and performing routine checks for safety and efficiency.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks on sterilized items to ensure they meet required safety and quality standards before distribution to clinical areas.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, including monitoring parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and documenting any deviations or issues that arise during the sterilization cycle.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, ensuring that all processes are compliant with organizational policies, local regulations, and national standards for sterile processing.
