Job Description

1. Supervise all CSSD operations including cleaning, packing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments.
2. Ensure proper functioning and validation of sterilization equipment (autoclaves, ETO, plasma, etc.).
3. Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
4. Manage sterilization records, load logs, and traceability documentation.
5. Coordinate with OT, wards, and clinical departments for instrument supply.
6. Supervise and train CSSD technicians and support staff.
7. Monitor inventory of instruments, consumables, and linen.
8. Ensure compliance with NABH / NABL / regulatory standards.
9. Handle audits, inspections, and quality checks.
10. Report incidents, equipment issues, and process deviations to management.
