Description
- Provide individual and group counseling to cancer patients, survivors, and their families, addressing emotional and psychological needs associated with the cancer experience.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges of each patient and family.
- Offer emotional support and coping strategies to help individuals navigate the emotional impact of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
- Provide information and education about the emotional and psychological aspects of cancer, treatment options, and coping mechanisms.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including oncologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
