Description

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and psychosocial needs through interviews, evaluations, and standardized assessment tools.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' presenting issues, strengths, goals, and preferences.
Provide counseling and psychotherapy to clients using a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy.
Facilitate group therapy sessions or support groups to address specific issues or promote personal growth and development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and referrals for clients.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Monitor clients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of counseling interventions through ongoing assessment and outcome measurement tools.
Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
