- Position: Consultant Urologist
- Location: Panacea Hospital, Kabirnagar, Durgakund, Varanasi
- Reports to: Medical Director / Head of Urology Department
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Salary Will be Negotiable, Based On Interview.
Position Overview: - We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Full-Time Consultant Urologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Panacea Hospital.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions, providing both surgical and non-surgical interventions. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: - Provide expert diagnosis and treatment for patients with urological disorders, including but not limited to kidney stones, prostate conditions, urinary tract infections (UTIs), erectile dysfunction, and bladder disorders.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopy, ultrasound, and urodynamics, along with recommending appropriate treatment plans.
- Offer surgical interventions for various urological conditions, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, where applicable.
- Provide ongoing follow-up care to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Patient Education & Counseling: - Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle changes, and post-treatment care to help them manage their urological health.
- Provide counseling on sensitive topics, such as sexual health, in a compassionate and professional manner.
Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: - Work closely with other departments and healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, oncologists, and nursing staff, to provide integrated care for patients with complex urological issues.
- Collaborate in case discussions, especially for critical and complex cases requiring team-based management.
Research & Development: - Stay updated with the latest advancements in urology, including new treatment protocols, surgical techniques, and technologies.
- Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials in urology, further enhancing the hospital's reputation for innovation in patient care.
Business Development & Practice Growth: - Contribute to the growth of the urology department by attracting new patients and building long-term relationships within the community.
- Actively engage in marketing efforts, including awareness programs and seminars, to establish Panacea Hospital as the go-to urology center in Varanasi.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Educational Qualifications:
- M.S. (Urology) or DNB (Urology) or MD (Urology) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications or fellowship in specific areas of urology, such as laparoscopy or robotic surgery, are a plus.
Professional Experience: - Minimum of 1 years of experience as a practicing Urologist.
- Proven track record of handling a wide variety of urological cases, including both surgical and non-surgical management.
- Experience in minimally invasive procedures and advanced urological surgeries is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies: - Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Expertise in both medical and surgical management of urological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
Licensure: - Active registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council.
