Description

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction, and urological cancers.
Perform a wide range of urological surgeries and procedures, including minimally invasive procedures (e.g., laparoscopic, robotic-assisted surgery), endoscopic procedures (e.g., cystoscopy, ureteroscopy), and open surgeries (e.g., nephrectomy, prostatectomy).
Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, such as urinalysis, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI scans, to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Provide expert consultation and guidance to healthcare providers on the appropriate use of imaging modalities, selection of treatment options, and management of complex urological cases.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, nephrologists, radiation oncologists, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care, facilitate multidisciplinary discussions, and optimize treatment outcomes.
Participate in research activities within the field of urology, including clinical research studies, outcomes research, and quality improvement projects, to advance knowledge and improve patient care.
Contribute to educational initiatives for medical students, residents, and fellows, including lectures, case conferences, and hands-on training sessions, to support the development of future urology professionals.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities, including participation in conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) activities, to stay updated on advances in urology and surgical techniques.
