Description

Diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions, including but not limited to kidney stones, urinary tract infections, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), bladder cancer, prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and urinary incontinence.
Perform thorough urological evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, urine cultures, imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scans, MRI scans), and urodynamic studies.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical presentations, diagnostic findings, and evidence-based guidelines. This may include prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle modifications, or performing surgical procedures.
Perform a variety of urological surgeries and procedures, including endoscopic procedures (cystoscopy, ureteroscopy), minimally invasive procedures (laser lithotripsy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy), laparoscopic surgeries (nephrectomy, pyeloplasty), and open surgeries (prostatectomy, cystectomy).
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for urological surgery patients, including assessment, counseling, and management of perioperative complications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, radiologists, nephrologists, sexual health specialists, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning conferences to discuss complex urological cases and develop optimal treatment strategies.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding urological conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care instructions.
