Description

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients referred by other doctors or healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality medical care.
Create, review, and update individualized treatment plans based on medical history, test results, and patient needs.
Perform or oversee complex procedures or surgeries (if applicable) as required by the specialization.
Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up care, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Review and sign off on clinical documentation and prescriptions made by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with medical standards.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, or seminars for junior doctors and other healthcare staff.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Provide second opinions and expert advice to other physicians or departments regarding complex cases.
Attend case review meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and ward rounds to provide input on patient care strategies.
