Job Description

1. Diagnose and manage patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, and spondyloarthropathies.
2. Perform and interpret laboratory and imaging investigations, including autoimmune panels and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
3. Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological therapy, biologics, and lifestyle interventions.
4. Manage acute rheumatologic flares and coordinate care with critical care when needed.
5. Supervise and mentor junior rheumatologists, residents, and allied health staff.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including orthopedics, nephrology, dermatology, and rehabilitation services.
7. Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and long-term disease management.
