Description

Provide comprehensive care for patients with chronic conditions, including those with multi-organ involvement such as lupus and systemic sclerosis.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive history taking, physical examination, and review of diagnostic tests.
Work with patients to develop personalized treatment and management plans, addressing both acute flare-ups and long-term disease progression.
Counsel patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of regular follow-up care.
Ensure appropriate medication management, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologics, corticosteroids, and pain management strategies.
Coordinate care with physiotherapists, orthopedists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary management.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, physical therapists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to manage complex rheumatologic cases, particularly those with multi-organ involvement.
