Description

Interpret a wide range of medical imaging studies, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, mammography, and nuclear medicine scans, to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions accurately.
Provide timely and accurate radiology reports, documenting imaging findings, differential diagnoses, and recommendations for further evaluation or intervention, ensuring clear communication with referring physicians and healthcare providers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists, to discuss imaging findings, formulate treatment plans, and optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
Perform and interpret advanced imaging studies and specialized procedures, including contrast-enhanced studies, interventional radiology procedures, and image-guided interventions, with precision and expertise.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety principles and protocols, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, staff, and the public during medical imaging studies, and providing appropriate radiation protection measures.
Participate in quality assurance activities, image interpretation audits, and peer review processes to maintain high standards of radiological practice, accuracy, and reliability of imaging interpretations.
Stay updated on advancements in radiology practice, imaging technology, and evidence-based guidelines through participation in radiology conferences, continuing medical education (CME) activities, and literature review.
Provide clinical guidance and supervision to radiology residents, fellows, and other trainees, fostering professional development and mentorship in radiology practice.
