Description

Evaluate and assess patients with cancer to determine the appropriate radiation therapy treatment plan based on tumor type, stage, location, and patient health status.
Collaborate with medical oncologists, surgeons, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment strategies, which may include radiation therapy alone or in combination with other modalities.
Supervise and administer radiation therapy treatments using advanced techniques such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and brachytherapy.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of radiation therapists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology nurses in delivering personalized radiation treatment plans.
Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior medical staff, residents, and fellows in training, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality standards.
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical teaching rounds, lectures, and case discussions focused on radiation oncology principles and practices.
Participate in the development and implementation of radiation oncology training programs, continuing medical education (CME) activities, and quality improvement initiatives within the institution.
Stay updated with advancements in radiation therapy technology and treatment planning software, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice and education.
