Description

Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, in outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and emergency departments.
Conduct thorough medical evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, illnesses, and developmental disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans and management strategies based on evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines, and patient-specific factors, including medical history, physical examination findings, and diagnostic test results.
Prescribe and administer appropriate medications, therapies, and interventions to address acute and chronic pediatric health issues, promoting optimal growth, development, and well-being.
Monitor patient progress, response to treatment, and health outcomes, adjusting management plans as necessary to ensure continuity of care and achievement of therapeutic goals.
Provide counseling, education, and support to patients, families, and caregivers on preventive healthcare, nutrition, growth and development, immunizations, and disease management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including pediatric nurses, pediatric subspecialists, therapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate care, facilitate transitions of care, and optimize patient outcomes.
