Description

Conduct thorough medical evaluations of pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, to assess growth and development, identify health concerns, and provide appropriate interventions.
Perform routine well-child visits, immunizations, and developmental screenings to monitor growth milestones, detect early signs of illness, and promote preventive healthcare.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, asthma, diabetes, and behavioral issues, utilizing evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
Provide specialized care for pediatric subspecialties, such as neonatology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric neurology, pediatric oncology, and pediatric pulmonology, as needed for complex medical conditions.
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, surgeons, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure continuity of care for pediatric patients with complex medical needs.
Educate parents, caregivers, and families on pediatric health topics, including newborn care, infant feeding, child safety, growth and development, nutrition, and common childhood illnesses.
Provide guidance on preventive healthcare measures, such as immunizations, well-child visits, nutrition counseling, and injury prevention strategies, to promote optimal health and wellness in pediatric patients.
Address parental concerns, questions, and misconceptions about pediatric health issues, treatment options, and developmental milestones, fostering open communication and shared decision-making.
