Description
- Diagnose and evaluate patients with orthopedic conditions through thorough clinical assessments, medical history review, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients, including both surgical and non-surgical interventions, based on accurate diagnoses and evidence-based practices.
- Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgical procedures, including but not limited to joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopic surgeries, fracture fixation, spine surgeries, and sports medicine procedures, with precision and proficiency.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including counseling on surgical procedures, managing perioperative complications, and overseeing rehabilitation and recovery plans.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, physiotherapists, nurses, and medical specialists, to ensure integrated and coordinated patient care.
- Lead surgical teams effectively during procedures, providing guidance to surgical assistants, nurses, and other support staff to ensure optimal patient safety and surgical outcomes.
- Mentor and supervise junior surgeons, medical residents, and fellows, providing education, training, and guidance in orthopaedic surgical techniques and practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopaedic surgery, including attending conferences, participating in continuing medical education activities, and engaging in research and scholarly activities.
