    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Antenatal Care:
  • Conduct comprehensive antenatal assessments and provide prenatal care to pregnant women.
  • Monitor the progress of pregnancies and manage any complications that may arise.

Intrapartum Care:

  • Attend deliveries and provide obstetric care during labor and childbirth.
  • Perform and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures when necessary.

Postnatal Care:

  • Provide postnatal care to mothers and newborns, ensuring their well-being.
  • Offer guidance on breastfeeding, infant care, and postpartum recovery.

Gynecological Services:

  • Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, reproductive tract infections, and pelvic pain.
  • Perform routine gynecological examinations and screenings.

Family Planning and Contraception:

  • Offer counseling on family planning options and contraception methods.
  • Provide contraceptive services and perform sterilization procedures when required.

Gynecological Surgeries:

  • Perform gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, myomectomies, and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Manage surgical cases with a focus on patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Counseling and Education:

  • Provide counseling on reproductive health, family planning, and pregnancy-related issues.
  • Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices and lifestyle modifications.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team:

  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including pediatricians, anesthetists, and nurses, for comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases.

Continuing Medical Education (CME):

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through regular participation in CME activities.
  • Contribute to research and publications in the field.
