Description

Diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including brain and spinal tumors, vascular disorders, traumatic injuries, and congenital abnormalities.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, gather medical histories, and perform neurological examinations.
Perform a variety of neurosurgical procedures, including but not limited to craniotomies, spinal fusions, stereotactic procedures, and minimally invasive techniques.
Utilize advanced surgical technologies and techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies, such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms, to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Collaborate with radiologists and other specialists in the interpretation of complex imaging studies.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits of surgical interventions.
Provide guidance on pre-operative and post-operative care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive and multidisciplinary patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
