Description

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with kidney-related diseases, including medical history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, and other nephrology-related conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, dialysis therapy, transplant evaluation, and coordination of multidisciplinary care.
Provide oversight and management of patients undergoing renal replacement therapy, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Monitor dialysis treatment parameters, adjust prescriptions as needed, and manage complications associated with dialysis therapy.
Evaluate and manage kidney transplant candidates and recipients, including pre-transplant assessment, immunosuppressive therapy, post-transplant care, and management of transplant-related complications.
Provide clinical supervision and education to medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals in nephrology-related topics.
Participate in academic activities, including lectures, case discussions, and journal clubs, to promote learning and professional development.
