Description

Conduct thorough consultations with patients presenting with renal disorders, including kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and renal failure.
Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests, to accurately diagnose renal conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the diagnosis, incorporating medical interventions, pharmacotherapy, dialysis, and other renal replacement therapies as needed.
Manage chronic kidney diseases (CKD) and related comorbidities, including diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and genetic kidney disorders, to optimize patient outcomes and slow disease progression.
Provide acute medical care for patients experiencing acute kidney injury (AKI), electrolyte imbalances, nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, and other acute renal conditions, ensuring timely diagnosis and intervention.
Oversee and manage hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or acute kidney injury, monitoring treatment efficacy and complications.
Assess and evaluate patients for kidney transplantation eligibility, including pre-transplant workup, donor compatibility assessment, and post-transplant care coordination.
