<ul><li>Provide specialized care to newborns with critical health issues, such as prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, and congenital abnormalities.</li><li>Manage neonates in NICU, ensuring appropriate monitoring and treatment, including ventilation, feeding, and medication management.</li><li>Lead the resuscitation and stabilization of high-risk newborns at delivery.</li><li>Develop individualized care plans for each newborn based on clinical assessments and investigations.</li><li>Perform specialized procedures such as endotracheal intubation, umbilical line placement, chest tube insertion, and exchange transfusions.</li><li>Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to neonates.</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and care planning with nurses, dietitians, respiratory therapists, and other team members.</li><li>Provide leadership and clinical guidance to the NICU team, including junior doctors, nursing staff, and support staff.</li></ul>
