Job Description

  1. Oversee and manage clinical microbiology laboratory operations.
  2. Perform, validate & authorize microbiology test reports.
  3. Guide clinicians on appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
  4. Monitor hospital-acquired infections (HAI).
  5. Lead Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) programs.
  6. Conduct antibiotic stewardship activities.
  7. Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH accreditation standards.
  8. Supervise lab staff & ensure quality control.
  9. Participate in infection control committee meetings.
  10. Maintain AMR data & surveillance reports.
  11. Support clinical teams during outbreak investigations.
