Job Description
- Oversee and manage clinical microbiology laboratory operations.
- Perform, validate & authorize microbiology test reports.
- Guide clinicians on appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
- Monitor hospital-acquired infections (HAI).
- Lead Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) programs.
- Conduct antibiotic stewardship activities.
- Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH accreditation standards.
- Supervise lab staff & ensure quality control.
- Participate in infection control committee meetings.
- Maintain AMR data & surveillance reports.
- Support clinical teams during outbreak investigations.
