Description
- Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough clinical assessments of patients, including taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and making accurate diagnoses.
- Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients based on their medical condition, test results, and individual needs. Prescribe medications, therapies, and other appropriate interventions.

- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with other medical specialists, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss complex cases, seek input, and develop coordinated treatment approaches.
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and patient-centred care to individuals with various medical conditions. Address patient concerns, educate them about their condition, treatment options, and prevention strategies, and ensure their well-being throughout the treatment process.
- Research and Education: Stay up to date with the latest medical advancements, research findings, and treatment guidelines. Contribute to medical research, publish scholarly articles, and participate in educational activities, such as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize healthcare delivery. Analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement evidence-based practices.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff, including residents, fellows, and medical students. Conduct clinical audits, provide feedback, and contribute to the professional development of colleagues.
- Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to medical ethics, standards, and guidelines. Maintain patient confidentiality, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote a safe and respectful healthcare environment.
