Description

Assess and manage critically ill patients, including those with life-threatening conditions such as respiratory failure, shock, or multi-organ failure.
Oversee and provide expert guidance in the ICU for both medical and surgical cases, including trauma and post-operative recovery.
Administer advanced life-support treatments, including mechanical ventilation, dialysis, and medication management.
Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and interpret critical diagnostic data, such as lab results, vital signs, and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
Lead emergency resuscitations and manage life-threatening situations effectively.
Provide consultations for other departments on intensive care management, including pre- and post-operative care.
Supervise and mentor junior intensivists, residents, and nursing staff in the ICU.
Document patient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in the medical records.
Stay updated with the latest developments in intensive care medicine, ensuring the adoption of best practices.
