1. Provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of general surgical conditions including abdominal, soft tissue, and gastrointestinal disorders.
2. Perform elective and emergency surgeries such as appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, and bowel resections.
3. Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and surgical team members.
4. Coordinate multidisciplinary care with anesthesiology, critical care, radiology, and allied specialties.
5. Manage pre-operative assessment, intra-operative care, and post-operative follow-up.
6. Handle surgical emergencies including trauma, GI perforations, and acute abdomen cases.
7. Ensure adherence to surgical safety protocols, ethical practices, and hospital regulations.
8. Maintain accurate documentation, operative notes, and patient counseling.
