Description
- The hospital has an Operation Theatre complex with two OTs where major and minor surgeries are carried out by in house and visiting surgeons from India and abroad.
- Some of the surgeries commonly undertaken are hernia, hydrocele, appendix, intestinal perforation, wound debridement, etc
- Surgical consultations and minor procedures like suturing, incision and drainage, cuts and lacerations etc. are dealt with in the Out-Patients Department.
- Anesthesia support is available.
- Recognised for Post graduate programme DNB Family Medicine since 2009.
- Independently manage the department.
- Perform common major General Surgical procedures.
