Job Description
- Diagnose and treat GI tract and liver-related disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Perform endoscopic procedures like upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
- Manage patients’ treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nutritionists, and allied specialists for comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed patient records, procedure reports, and clinical documentation.
- Guide junior doctors and medical staff in gastroenterology care and procedures.
- Participate in academic activities, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME).
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Stay updated with latest research, guidelines, and advancements in gastroenterology.
- Provide consultation and advice to patients regarding preventive and therapeutic care.
