Description

Conduct thorough consultations and diagnostic evaluations for patients presenting with GI symptoms, such as abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on diagnostic tests, including medical therapy, endoscopic interventions, and surgical referrals when necessary.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).
Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals involved in the care of gastroenterology patients, including GI nurses, endoscopy technicians, dietitians, and hepatologists.
Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior medical staff, residents, and fellows in training, fostering their professional development and clinical skills in gastroenterology.
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through clinical teaching rounds, lectures, and case discussions focused on gastroenterology principles and practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of gastroenterology training programs, continuing medical education (CME) activities, and quality improvement initiatives within the institution.
Stay updated with advancements in gastroenterology research, guidelines, and technologies, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice and education.
