Description

Perform complex gastrointestinal surgeries, including resections, laparoscopic surgeries, endoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive techniques for conditions such as cancers, ulcers, hernias, gallstones, Crohn’s disease, and other GI disorders.
Conduct preoperative assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests (e.g., imaging, endoscopy) to develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans.
Perform endoscopic procedures (e.g., gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP) for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
Manage postoperative care, ensuring patients recover safely from surgery, addressing complications, and providing follow-up consultations.
Treat patients with a wide range of GI conditions, including cancers of the GI tract, peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
Collaborate with other specialists (e.g., hepatologists, oncologists, radiologists) in the management of complex gastrointestinal diseases, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Provide expert advice on nonsurgical management of digestive disorders when appropriate.
