Description

Evaluate and diagnose patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic diseases through detailed patient history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for various gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and liver diseases.
Prescribe medications, lifestyle changes, and dietary modifications as part of patient care.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, upper endoscopy (EGD), ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.
Interpret endoscopic findings and make appropriate treatment recommendations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to provide integrated care for patients with complex conditions.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Educate patients and their families about gastrointestinal conditions, treatment options, and preventative health measures.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with chronic gastrointestinal diseases.
