Consultant Endocrinology

• Compensation Range: 50K to 150K per month (depending on experience).
• Job Type: Part-time.
• Working hours weekly: 10 to 20 hours.                                                                                               

Key Responsibilities

• Endocrinologist needed on part-time basis to design a weight loss program for a health & wellness platform and to consult patients online for weight loss. Should have knowledge about GLP-1 medications.               
• Diagnosis and Assessment: Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical history and relevant diagnostic tests.
• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans for patients. Treatment options may include medications, dietary changes in collaboration with a nutritionist, lifestyle modifications, hormone therapy etc.
• Hormone Management: Monitor and regulate hormone levels in patients with hormonal imbalances, such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal gland disorders, and reproductive hormone imbalances.
• Educating Patients: Empower patients by providing clear explanations of their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle changes necessary to manage their condition effectively.
• Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in weight loss and implementing innovative treatment approaches in patient care.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to medical guidelines and protocols, and participate in quality assurance initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Community Outreach: Participate in community health programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical Degree from a medical school with super-specialisation in Endocrinology.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively explain medical concepts to patients and colleagues.
• Empathy and compassion in dealing with patients.
