Description

Assess and manage patients presenting to the ED with a wide range of medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions.
Perform rapid and accurate clinical assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.
Perform emergent procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and fracture reductions as necessary.
Provide ongoing reassessment and monitoring of patients' clinical status, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Provide leadership and direction to junior medical staff, nurses, and allied health professionals within the ED.
Coordinate patient flow and staffing to optimize departmental efficiency and ensure timely care delivery.
Foster a collaborative and supportive working environment that promotes effective teamwork and communication.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to facilitate care coordination and discharge planning.
