Job Description

1. Lead and perform adult and pediatric cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including open-heart, valve, CABG, and congenital surgeries.
2. Conduct pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and post-operative management of patients.
3. Manage complex cardiac and thoracic cases and provide expert second opinions.
4. Oversee ICU and post-operative care for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.
5. Supervise, train, and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and OT staff.
6. Ensure strict adherence to patient safety, infection control, and surgical quality standards.
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists.
8. Maintain accurate medical records, operative notes, and follow-up documentation.
