<ul><li>Evaluate patients' medical histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose cardiac and vascular conditions.</li><li>Perform complex cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve repair or replacement, thoracic aortic surgery, and vascular reconstructions.</li><li>Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to assess patients' surgical risks and develop individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Manage surgical procedures, including anesthesia, tissue dissection, surgical repair, and hemodynamic monitoring.</li><li>Monitor patients' recovery in intensive care units (ICUs) or post-anesthesia care units (PACUs), manage pain relief, and address post-surgical complications.</li><li>Provide clinical leadership and guidance to surgical teams, including residents, fellows, nurses, and support staff.</li><li>Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and postoperative care instructions.</li><li>Participate in clinical research, publish findings, and contribute to medical education and training programs for residents and medical students.</li></ul>
