1. Patient Care:
- Provide expert medical care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and other critical care areas.
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of critical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, trauma, and multi-organ failure.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and others to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Supervise and perform procedures commonly required in critical care settings such as intubation, central line placement, and ventilator management.
2. Clinical Leadership:
- Serve as a key clinical leader within the hospital, collaborating with other specialists, physicians, and hospital administrators to optimize patient outcomes and quality of care.
