<ul><li>Diagnose and manage patients requiring cardiothoracic and vascular surgical interventions.</li><li>Perform elective and emergency surgeries including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, thoracic procedures, and vascular reconstructions.</li><li>Lead preoperative assessment, operative planning, and postoperative care.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, trainees, and operating theatre staff.</li><li>Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, and allied health teams for multidisciplinary patient care.</li><li>Interpret diagnostic tests including echocardiography, CT/MRI angiography, and cardiac catheterization.</li><li>Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, surgical safety protocols, and quality-of-care standards.</li><li>Participate in morbidity and mortality reviews, audits, and service improvement initiatives.</li><li>Engage in research, teaching, and continuous professional development in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.</li></ul>
