Description

Conduct comprehensive cardiac evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and imaging studies, to assess patients' cardiovascular health and diagnose cardiac conditions.
Interpret cardiac diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac catheterizations, and cardiac imaging studies, to identify cardiac abnormalities, assess cardiac function, and guide treatment decisions.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular diseases, incorporating pharmacological therapies, lifestyle modifications, and procedural interventions to optimize cardiac health and prevent disease progression.
Perform cardiac interventions and procedures, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and cardioversion, to treat coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular disorders, and other cardiac conditions.
Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, risk factors for heart disease, and preventive measures, such as healthy lifestyle habits, diet modifications, exercise regimens, smoking cessation, and medication adherence.
Provide guidance on medication management, including antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, lipid-lowering drugs, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, and calcium channel blockers, to control cardiovascular risk factors and improve outcomes.
Address patient questions, concerns, and emotional needs related to cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments, offering empathetic support and encouragement throughout the treatment process.
