Job Description

1. Provide expert perioperative anaesthetic care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and complex congenital procedures.
2. Administer and monitor general anaesthesia, invasive hemodynamic support, and cardiac-specific anaesthetic techniques.
3. Supervise and mentor junior anaesthetists, residents, perfusionists, and OT staff in cardiac surgery cases.
4. Manage perioperative critical care, including cardiac ICU, post-operative monitoring, and emergency interventions.
5. Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, perfusion teams, and critical care staff for optimal patient outcomes.
6. Develop and implement cardiac anaesthesia protocols, guidelines, and safety standards.
7. Ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements, including accurate documentation and informed consent.
8. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, research, and continuous professional development.
