Job Description

1. Provide specialised anaesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and congenital procedures.
2. Assess pre-operative cardiac patients to evaluate risks and optimise perioperative management.
3. Administer and manage general, regional, and monitored anaesthesia techniques specific to cardiac procedures.
4. Monitor hemodynamics, cardiac output, and vital parameters intraoperatively using advanced cardiac monitoring.
5. Manage cardiopulmonary bypass, ECMO, and other mechanical circulatory support during surgery.
6. Provide post-operative critical care in ICU, including pain management and hemodynamic support.
7. Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and critical care teams for patient safety.
8. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with cardiac anaesthesia protocols.
