Description

Oversee the care of critically ill patients with life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, multi-organ dysfunction, acute cardiac issues, and trauma.
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, order appropriate investigations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide continuous monitoring of patients' progress, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes.
Perform critical care interventions, such as mechanical ventilation, central line insertions, hemodynamic monitoring, and renal replacement therapies (dialysis).
Ensure timely and accurate management of patients requiring sedation, pain control, and palliative care.
Lead the resuscitation efforts during emergencies such as cardiac arrest, shock, severe respiratory distress, and multi-organ failure.
Stabilize critically ill patients before transfer to other departments or before surgery if required.
Coordinate emergency admissions to the ICU and prioritize care based on the severity of the patient’s condition.
