Description

Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations, including reviewing patients' medical histories, performing physical examinations, and assessing potential risks and contraindications for anesthesia.
Develop individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s needs and surgical requirements.
Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, based on the surgical procedure and patient condition.
Ensure proper dosing and monitoring of anesthetic agents to maintain appropriate levels of anesthesia throughout the procedure.
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia depth, and physiological responses during surgery.
Make real-time adjustments to anesthesia levels and interventions as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort.
Respond promptly and effectively to any adverse reactions or complications related to anesthesia, including managing airway emergencies, cardiac events, and other critical situations.
Provide life-saving interventions and collaborate with the surgical team in emergency scenarios.
Oversee the recovery of patients from anesthesia, monitoring them in the postoperative care unit or recovery room.
Manage postoperative pain and address any anesthesia-related complications that may arise.
