Description

  • Conduct comprehensive preoperative evaluations, including reviewing patients' medical histories, performing physical examinations, and assessing potential risks and contraindications for anesthesia.
  • Develop individualized anesthesia plans tailored to each patient’s needs and surgical requirements.
  • Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, based on the surgical procedure and patient condition.
  • Ensure proper dosing and monitoring of anesthetic agents to maintain appropriate levels of anesthesia throughout the procedure.
  • Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia depth, and physiological responses during surgery.
  • Make real-time adjustments to anesthesia levels and interventions as needed to maintain patient safety and comfort.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to any adverse reactions or complications related to anesthesia, including managing airway emergencies, cardiac events, and other critical situations.
  • Provide life-saving interventions and collaborate with the surgical team in emergency scenarios.
  • Oversee the recovery of patients from anesthesia, monitoring them in the postoperative care unit or recovery room.
  • Manage postoperative pain and address any anesthesia-related complications that may arise.
