Description
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning in patients with neurological disorders.
- Utilize a range of assessment tools and techniques to diagnose conditions such as dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other neurological disorders.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on cognitive and psychological functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on neuropsychological assessments and patient needs.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients with neurological conditions to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurologists, psychiatrists, and therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Consult with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialists to discuss patient assessments and treatment plans.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations for managing neurological conditions and improving patient outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and treatment planning.
