Description

Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, and others.
Utilize various psychological tests, interviews, and observation techniques to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment of patient needs and clinical guidelines.
Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, among others.
Offer individual, group, or family therapy sessions to address mental health challenges and promote emotional well-being.
Implement crisis interventions and coping strategies for patients dealing with acute psychological distress.
Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex or chronic conditions.
Engage with patients' families and caregivers when appropriate, educating them on mental health and treatment processes.
