Description

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate clients' emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning.
Use standardized assessment tools, interviews, and clinical observations to gather relevant information for diagnostic purposes.
Collaborate with clients to develop a thorough understanding of their presenting concerns, symptoms, and personal history.
Formulate accurate diagnoses based on assessment findings and diagnostic criteria outlined in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) or other relevant classification systems.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Collaborate with clients to set realistic treatment goals and objectives, fostering a collaborative and empowering therapeutic relationship.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups using various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Facilitate therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating symptoms, improving coping skills, enhancing self-awareness, and promoting psychological well-being.
Conduct risk assessments and suicide evaluations for clients experiencing acute psychological distress or exhibiting suicidal ideation or self-harming behaviors.
Provide crisis intervention services, including safety planning, de-escalation techniques, and referrals to appropriate emergency services or psychiatric facilities when necessary.
