Description
- Design and oversee clinical trials and pharmacological studies to evaluate the safety, efficacy, and pharmacokinetics of investigational drugs or therapeutic interventions.
- Develop protocols, study designs, and research methodologies for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and scientific principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including physicians, scientists, statisticians, and regulatory affairs professionals, to plan and execute clinical research projects and drug development programs.
- Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participants for clinical trials, obtaining informed consent and ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory guidelines throughout the trial period.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to investigational drugs or treatments, collecting and analyzing clinical data, adverse events, and laboratory results to assess safety and efficacy endpoints.
- Interpret study findings, analyze clinical data, and prepare study reports, summaries, and publications for dissemination to regulatory authorities, scientific conferences, and peer-reviewed journals.
- Participate in regulatory submissions, including IND (Investigational New Drug) applications, NDA (New Drug Application) submissions, and responses to regulatory queries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with medical affairs, marketing, and commercial teams to develop scientific communications, educational materials, and promotional strategies to support product launches and marketing initiatives.
