IPD

• To take daily IPD rounds and plan diet for patients therapeutically
• To prepare diet card, diet ticket and beverage summary for all patients
• To taste the food before it is served to patients
• To meet all the new admissions
• To follow the IPD flow process
• To handle telephone calls and coordinate the order of patients
• To inform supervisor for service recovery situations
• To update the superiors about maintenance related work
• To assess nutritional patients clinically in IPD
• To give input in making of IPD cyclic menu
• To counsel patients in IPD at the time of their discharge

OPD

• To attend diet clinic

Miscellaneous

• To get revenue from IPD and OPD
• To train the interns, make assessment on their project work and help them in submitting the same
• To give training to F&B staff from time to time
• To participate in CMEs.
• Any other task assigned from time to time by the HOD
