Description
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, specifications, and designs for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and water infrastructure.
- Conduct site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.
- Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to determine structural integrity, load capacities, and material specifications for project components.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and construction plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues and challenges during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections, testing, and documentation to verify compliance with project requirements and specifications.
