Description

Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including air quality testing, water quality analysis, waste management, and emissions monitoring, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and permit conditions.
Assist in the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures to promote a safe work environment and prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses.
Conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses to identify potential environmental and safety hazards in the workplace, assess associated risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Assist in the development of emergency response plans, conduct emergency drills and exercises, and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies to ensure effective emergency preparedness and response.
Provide EHS training and education to employees, contractors, and other stakeholders on safety procedures, environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response protocols.
Assist in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and near-miss reporting to identify underlying causes of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Support regulatory compliance efforts by monitoring changes in environmental, health, and safety regulations, conducting compliance audits and inspections, and preparing regulatory reports and submissions as required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, maintenance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of EHS initiatives with overall business objectives.
Participate in EHS projects and initiatives, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution, to achieve strategic objectives and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental, health, and safety activities, including monitoring data, inspection reports, training records, and incident investigations.
