Description

Set up and prepare the Cath Lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Verify patient identity, procedure details, and informed consent prior to the procedure.
Assist with patient positioning and draping, ensuring optimal access to the vascular access site.
Operate and monitor hemodynamic monitoring equipment, including electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, blood pressure monitors, and oxygen saturation monitors.
Assist the cardiologist during Cath Lab procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and intracoronary imaging.
Handle and prepare catheters, guidewires, balloons, and other interventional devices as directed.
Monitor patients' vital signs and hemodynamic parameters throughout the procedure, alerting the team to any abnormalities or complications.
Assist with the removal of vascular sheaths and closure devices post-procedure, applying pressure and monitoring for bleeding or hematoma formation.
Transfer patients to the recovery area and monitor their condition closely, providing immediate assistance in case of adverse events.
